Hi, I’m Kate. 

I’m a Newcastle-based wedding photographer with a soft spot for history, good music, and anywhere with enough greenery to get lost in. 

My love for photography began with old photographs — family portraits found in op-shops and history books, images filled with love, loss, and lives now gone. I was captivated by their imperfections, their honesty, and the way a single image could hold an entire story.

That feeling never left me. It’s why I photograph weddings. I believe the most meaningful images come from allowing moments to unfold naturally — preserving the laughter, the quiet, the connections, and the people who make your story what it is.

Because wedding photographs are more than memories of a day. They are a piece of your history — a reminder of the love that surrounded you, and the people who helped shape your story.

Most of the day, I'm just moving. Around the room, through it, trying to feel it all from every angle. What does it look, sound, feel like, being close enough to catch it, quiet enough that it stays true. 

I love giving you the freedom to experience your day as it happens. If I offer guidance, it comes as a gentle invitation; rather than directions to follow. Every nudge is simply an offering, creating space for who you are, genuine connection, and authentic memories.

What I want, is for you to feel it all again when you look back. I want it to ache a little, every time. Because I think the most beautiful memories do. They remind us not just of what happened, but of how deeply we loved.

And lastly, I want you to feel relieved. That it happened. That it was seen. That it will be remembered.
